ENTRY TIPS

Remember to tie aims and objectives to your results, and make sure you keep to the word count. The panel judges 50-plus entries each, so keep it concise. Quote real figures where you can, judges appreciate hard numbers that can prove ROI. It’s also a good idea to include client testimonials, and use infographics to easily explain your results. Independent Agency of the Year

Judges will be looking for independent agencies which:
  • Demonstrate consistently high standards of creative and innovative digital work
  • Create award winning digital campaigns or creative work that increases client turnover
  • Can demonstrate retention of clients or new client wins
  • Have identified or exploited new markets, income streams or opportunities

Digital Agency of the Year

Judges will be looking for agencies which:
  • Demonstrate consistently high standards of creative and innovative digital work
  • Create award winning digital campaigns or creative work that increases client turnover
  • Can demonstrate retention of clients or new client wins
  • Have identified or exploited new markets, income streams or opportunities

Integrated Agency of the Year

Judges will be looking for agencies which:
  • Have increased or maintained sales during the past 12 months
  • Create award winning campaigns or creative work that increases client turnover
  • Demonstrate consistently high standards of creative, innovative, integrated work
  • Have identified or exploited new markets, income streams or opportunities

PR Agency of the Year

Judges will be looking for agencies which:
  • Have increased or maintained turnover during the past 12 months
  • Can demonstrate retention of clients or new client wins
  • Have embraced and implemented social media into their client offerings
  • Can demonstrate exceptional levels of media coverage for clients

Tech Company of the Year

Judges will be looking for an established tech company which:
  • Has identified or exploited new markets, income streams or opportunities
  • Can demonstrate exceptional financial results
  • Is investing in retaining, training and developing their workforce

Martech Company of the Year

Judges will be looking for an established martech company which:
  • Has identified or exploited new markets, income streams or opportunities
  • Can demonstrate exceptional financial results
  • Is investing in retaining, training and developing their workforce

Martech Initiative of the Year

Judges will be looking for the most successful examples of a company’s marketing technology, systems and tools which have helped marketers and customers better engage with potential and existing customers. Examples could include any of the following:
  • Automation of traditionally time-consuming marketing tasks
  • Examples of enhancing customer data cleansing and enhanced data insights
  • Examples of enhancing clients’ customer communications
  • Enhancing recurring or regular marketing campaigns
  • A campaign which demonstrates impressive financial results for the company itself or a customer

Website of the Year

Judges will be looking for websites that:
  • Have been created by an in-house team or agency in the South (can be entered by company personnel or agency representatives)
  • Demonstrate a sustainable financial model (if a commercial site)
  • Provide interesting, innovative and relevant content in an easy navigable format
  • Demonstrate a significant increase in visitor traffic
  • Can demonstrate effective market share and achieve good search rankings

Multimedia Video of the Year

Judges are looking for:
  • A video (including infotainment or advertorial) that has an understanding of its target audience, is creative, successful and appropriate
  • A video (used on or offline) which has reached clear objectives within budget, demonstrates innovative content and execution, appropriate use of channels to communicate with audience and can demonstrate evidence-based results

Best Use of Technology

Judges will be looking for companies who have launched a new product or service within the past three years which is anchored on the use of technology. Judges will be looking for examples of a new technology initiative which helps improve the lives of Londoners on a daily basis in either:
  • A work-related context such as communication, business, transportation, learning etc or
  • An initiative with broader personal benefits such as fitness, leisure, mental health and wellness

B2B Marketing Campaign of the Year

Judges will be looking for a B2B marketing campaign delivered in the South that:
  • Has successfully utilised a number of channels to deliver outstanding results
  • Demonstrates customer insight and relevance to its target audience
  • Includes details of chosen channels and how the campaign was executed
  • Has reached clear objectives within budget and can demonstrate evidence-based results

B2C Marketing Campaign of the Year

Judges will be looking for a B2C marketing campaign delivered in the South that:
  • Has successfully utilised a number of channels to deliver outstanding results
  • Demonstrates customer insight and relevance to its target audience
  • Includes details of chosen channels and how the campaign was executed

Judges will be looking for a PR campaign delivered in the South that:

Digital / Social Media Campaign of the Year

Judges will be looking for a digital / social media campaign delivered in the South that:

Content Campaign of the Year

Judges will be looking for a content campaign delivered in the South that:

  • Has reached clear objectives within budget and can demonstrate evidence-based results

Integrated Campaign of the Year

Judges will be looking for an integrated campaign delivered in the South that:
  • Has successfully utilised a number of channels to deliver outstanding results
  • Demonstrates customer insight and relevance to its target audience
  • Includes details of chosen channels and how the campaign was executed
  • Has reached clear objectives within budget and can demonstrate evidence-based results

Brand Building Campaign of the Year

Judges will be looking for examples of any of the following:
  • Campaigns launched and delivered for a new product/services over the past two years which can clearly demonstrate exceptional branding awareness for the new product/service
  • Campaigns over the past year which can demonstrate a marked increase in sales and awareness for an established brand with results and metrics
  • Campaigns which can demonstrate entirely new sales for a new product or service from an established brand
  • Rebranding campaign or refreshing of an established brand to maintain or expand customer reach

Partnership Campaign of the Year

This category seeks examples of a new or existing strategic partnership of two organisations coming together to create a successful and measurable marketing campaign. Judges will be looking for examples of any of the following:
  • A new campaign or initiative brought to the market with demonstrable results for both parties in existing sectors or which resulted in sales in new sectors for both parties
  • The most innovative or unexpected pairing of two companies/organisations resulting in measurable sales in new or existing sectors

Best Innovative New Product or Service

Innovation is the application of new ideas, products or solutions that address new requirements, unarticulated needs, or existing market needs. Judges will be looking for examples of innovation that can:
  • Refreshed or restructured an existing solution which has been under pressure
  • Demonstrably created a new product or service to meet what was largely unrecognised as a need or commercial opportunity in the public or private sector
  • Demonstrate how a customer-centric approach led to a new or enhanced value proposition in an existing organisation

Best Use of Data and Insight

This category seeks to recognise companies or agencies for the effective utilisation of insight or data in a marketing campaign. Judges will be looking for work/campaigns that demonstrate:
  • Original and innovative use of insight or data in a campaign
  • Strategic thinking in the use of insight or data
  • Compelling examples of creativity to help deliver/differentiate the marketing campaign
  • Effectiveness and results of the campaign
